Maintenance

Preventive Maintenance and Fluid Services

Scheduled services based on your manufacturer's maintenance schedule, so small items do not turn into big repairs.

Every vehicle comes with a maintenance schedule from the manufacturer: fluids, filters, belts, spark plugs, and checks spaced out by mileage and time. Following it is the most reliable way to avoid being surprised by a repair. Most of the breakdowns we see started as a maintenance item that got skipped.

We use that schedule as the starting point, not a generic menu. Tell us the mileage and how you use the vehicle, and we will tell you what the manufacturer calls for at this point and what we would actually do first if you need to prioritize.

Preventive maintenance is also where a long-term relationship with a shop pays off. When we have seen your vehicle before, we know what was done, what was watched, and what is coming due, and we can plan it around your budget instead of hitting you with everything at once.

For families, commuters, and small businesses running pickups and vans, keeping the vehicle out of the shop unexpectedly is the whole point.

What's included

  • Review of your manufacturer's schedule for the current mileage
  • Fluid services (engine oil, transmission, coolant, brake fluid, power steering, differential) as called for
  • Engine and cabin air filters
  • Belts, hoses, and battery condition
  • Spark plugs and ignition components per the schedule
  • Tires, brakes, and suspension checked and documented
  • A written list of what was done and what's coming up

You see what we see. We offer a digital inspection. When you say yes, we send photos of what we find to your phone, so you can look at the same pictures our technician is looking at. Nothing gets repaired until you tell us to go ahead.

Our warranty

Our work is covered for 3 years or 36,000 miles on personal vehicles, and 12 months or 12,000 miles on vehicles used commercially or for business.

Schedule a Repair

A request sent through this website is not a confirmed appointment until we confirm it. Requested times are subject to availability, and we follow up within 24 hours during business hours to confirm a time that works.

How it works

Preventive Maintenance and Fluid Services, step by step

  1. Step 1: Tell us the mileage and how you drive

That, plus the year, make, model, and engine, lets us pull the manufacturer's schedule.

  2. Step 2: We check and compare

A technician checks the vehicle and compares what's due against what we see.

  3. Step 3: You get a prioritized quote

What's needed now, what can wait, and what it costs, before any work begins.

  4. Step 4: Work done and documented

You leave with a record of what was done and when the next items come due.

FAQ

Preventive Maintenance and Fluid Services questions

I don't know the service history on my used vehicle. Where do I start?

Bring it in. We'll go through the manufacturer's schedule for the mileage, check the condition of the fluids and wear items, and give you a prioritized list so you aren't paying for things that were already done.

Do I have to do everything on the schedule at once?

No. We'll tell you what matters most for safety and reliability and help you plan the rest.

Do you service business vehicles?

Yes. We work on cars, pickups, SUVs, and other light-duty vehicles for local businesses and can help you keep a simple maintenance plan for each one.
